Hi there—I’m Maria
I’m a movement maven with a healer’s heart, blending over 20 years of Pilates mastery, massage therapy, and functional health coaching into a vibrant, client-centered practice rooted in curiosity, compassion, and whole-body wisdom.
I have a deep respect for aging gracefully, and I love guiding people in midlife (and beyond) through the real, messy, and beautiful work of staying strong, limber, and deeply well—far beyond chasing six-pack abs. My sessions are where science meets soul, always grounded in flexibility and the strength I found when I walked away from a desk job to follow my calling.
I cook with love, hike to recharge, and raise two wild and wonderful boys who remind me every day that life is meant to be playful. Teaching is in my DNA—but I don’t just teach. I co-create, mentor, and empower.
My studio is more than a space—it’s a sanctuary for movement, mindfulness, and meaningful transformation.

Health and wellness doesn’t have to be rigid or serious. Let's bring lightness and fun to deep, transformative work.

I’ve always been a
curious soul.
My mother likes to say I never saw life as a challenge—I saw it as an invitation. From a young age, I was eager to explore, to imagine, to try things without fear. That curiosity led me to move to Mexico in my adolescence, where I lived with a local family, immersed myself in the language, and developed a deep love for cooking. I wasn’t allowed to ask what something was—I was told to just eat it. So I did. And with each bite, my palate expanded and a lifelong appreciation for culture, nourishment, and bold flavors began to take root.
My early career was rooted in communication and entertainment, including a formative chapter working at DreamWorks during its early years. Surrounded by an
international team of artists and visionaries, I saw firsthand how dreams become tangible, how ideas are brought to life. It gave me the confidence to believe in possibility—and eventually, to pivot into a career that aligned more deeply with my purpose: whole body health.
That path began with Pilates, and over time, expanded into bodywork, functional medicine health coaching, and mentorship. I’ve spent more than two decades studying and teaching the many layers of wellness—from anatomy and movement science to nutrition, hormone health, and even energy work. I believe it’s all connected.
